In November 2025, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing an intimate winter micro wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh! Days like this are even more special when you’re surrounded by a team of wonderful vendors.
When I arrived, the natural light streaming through the big windows created this dreamy ambiance. The couple decided to keep the guest list small, which made everything so personal and heartfelt. It was just their closest friends and family all gathered to celebrate. You could see it in their eyes and capture it in every little detail — from the delicate floral arrangements to the laughter echoing through the halls.
All in all, what really stood out was how they infused personal touches into every aspect of the wedding. Irene’s daughter sang a beautiful song during the ceremony and brought tears to everyone’s eyes (yep, even mine). The candle lit ambience of the reception space made it such a warm and inviting environment.

In the end, it was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do. Being able to document such genuine love and connection in such a beautiful setting is truly a privilege.
